The Common Yellow Bait Bucket

One of the more common bait buckets that you see around are the yellow buckets, you can just push the gate in to either insert some live bait or get the live bait out. The gate only pushes one direction to prevent the live bait from escaping. These kinds of bait buckets are commonly used when fishing from a dock or a pier, the bucket is tied off with rope then it is thrown in the water, the bucket has many small holes in it so the fish can breathe the oxygen in the saltwater to stay alive longer. These are extremely great to use if you are saltwater fishing from a pier and you can't afford to buy a portable livewell, and they are just as efficient in keeping your bait alive.
